2 ISLA MUJERES (30 min FROM THE MARINA)!

Saltwater Specials offers much more activities than just deep sea fishing, we also happen to offer relaxing day tours to Isla Mujeres, where you can snorkel, tan, eat, shop and enjoy the exotic locale.
Isla Mujeres is a small island, 6 miles off the coast of Cancun. The Island is about 5 miles in length and 1.2 miles in width, known to be the heart and soul of the Mexican Caribbean, with an exotic locale to beautiful coral reefs. There are plenty of fun and exciting adventures for everyone. Renting golf karts is a great option for any tourist visiting Isla one can drive the entire island in less then 45 minutes. You can relax and dine in the morning while you wait for the baking sun to stretch over the island, and ready to hit the beaches. Being that the island is so small you can do a number of activities throughout the day, such as to snorkel the beautiful coral reef famously known as El Meco or El Garrafon Natural Reef Park. If you are looking to just relax, chat with foreigners or just simply enjoy the sun. Isla Mujeres is known for its amazing white sandy beaches such as Playa Norte, Playa Lancheros and Playa Indios, Playa Paraiso.

3 CONTOY (1 HR 30 MIN FROM THE MARINA)
The island of Contoy is a special reserved island that allows no more than 200 visitors per day. This virgin island is a sanctuary to more than 90 different species of birds, sea turtles and a great variety of Flora and Fauna. Contoy is also well known for its annual whale shark season which falls May – September. Contoy is an unforgettable experience for anyone!

Minimum Charter 8 hours.
Recommended attire:
Light sport wear, bathing suite, towel, comfortable shoes, camera, hat and the snorkel equipment (also available for rent on the boat $2 for snorkeling tube)
Note: there is a federal charge of $5.00 usd extra per person to pay at the reserve for whoever wants to visit it; you must pay this cost arriving at the reserve. |
